William Caldon, DMD
Dr. Bill Caldon was born in Covington Kentucky and is now a dentist
practicing with his partners Dr. Mike O’Connor and Dr. D.J.
O’Neill in upstate New York at the edge of the Adirondack Mountains
and on the shores of beautiful Lake Champlain. He has a
Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Thomas More College in northern Kentucky and a
Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Louisville.
Dr. Caldon spent twenty years in the United States Air Force retiring as a Colonel.
In 1985 he successfully completed an Air Force two-year Advanced Education
Program in General Dentistry. During his Air Force career, Dr. Caldon taught
courses in restorative dentistry, oral pathology, temporomandibular disorders, pediatric
dentistry and orthodontics. He served as Director of a one-year Advanced
Education Program in General Dentistry and commanded Dental Squadrons in
England, New York and New Jersey, often serving as interim Hospital Commander.
For three years he served as an Examiner on the Federal Services Board of
General Dentistry.
Dr. Caldon is a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, a Diplomate of the
American Board of General Dentistry and is a member of the American Dental Association,
International College of Dentist, American Dental Implant Association,
New York State Dental Association and New York’s Fourth District Dental Society.
He routinely attends well over 100 hours of continuing education per year and is
certified in Oral Conscious Sedation and Short Term Orthodontics.
Dr. Caldon has been married to Margaret, his childhood sweetheart, for 38 years
and has four fantastic children and, at last count, five beautiful grandchildren. Visit
