Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more
important than any one thing. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Steve Hand is an Executive Director of Business Network International.
BNI is the world’s leader in word-of-mouth marketing,
with more than 125,000 members in forty countries. Last year BNI members passed
roughly 6.2 million referrals, generating more than $2.6 billion (USD) worth of business
for their members globally.
Steve is a passionate teacher and ambassador for the power of referral-based sales,
and is looking forward to helping take your networking skills to new heights. He has
been an entrepreneur from a very early age, buying his first car at age 11. To be more
precise, he was a 20% owner of a little Hillman Minx. “None of us were old enough
to drive on the street but we ran that little car hard up and down the driveway all day
long. It didn’t take long to start renting rides and we ultimately made a handsome profit
before the summer was out.”
Steve has a strong background in technology services and has been self-employed
since 1997. In addition to helping nearly 700 clients enjoy $15 million in profits annually,
Steve teaches beginner poker and the Cashflow board game.
His wife, Shirley, teaches at the Governor Morehead School for the Blind and copublished
Seeing Beyond Sight, a book about photography classes for blind students
that was well received by the New York Times.
Steve’s personal goal is to drive passive income above active expenses.
