Randy Huntley

Randy Huntley has managed several hundred single-family homes and individually owned condo units since 1989. He’s president of Residential Property Management Inc., which provides competent and accountable property management services to landlords worldwide. Randy began selling real estate in 1987. When the property management position became available, he took up the challenge, and so began his career in property management. Additionally, Randy is a real estate broker with Weichert Realtors and is a multimillion-dollar producer in annual real estate sales. Originally from Iowa, Randy is a recently retired, 30-year veteran of the U.S. Marine Drum and Bugle Corps and U.S. Army National Guard Band (257th Army Band). Randy and his wife, Sue, have been married for 33 years, have four children, and five (soon to be six) grandchildren. His geographic concentration is the Northern Virginia area and also Washington, DC. Managing property is his true passion, because as he says, “We’re in the ‘Peace of Mind’ business. We receive a huge sense of satisfaction knowing that landlords can focus on their lives and professions wherever in the world they are, and they don’t have to worry about their rented property back home. In other words, we have their backs!” Just recently the local area experienced an earthquake, hurricane, and extreme storms and flooding all within a three-week time span. Randy’s staff got busy and began alerting landlords, describing various situations; they contacted their tenants asking for feedback and updates on the property condition, coordinated repairs and necessary services, and kept the communication lines open. Where many service companies simply reverted to voice mail, Randy’s staff did their best to answer the phones live and reassured both landlords and tenants that all was going to be OK. Here’s just some of the positive feedback Randy and his team received: “As always …. Thanks. I’m sore from bailing water here in Connecticut to prevent flooding. It helps to not worry about the house down there.”—Landlord Elaine L., South Windsor, Connecticut. “All good here! Thanks for the utility and emergency contact information. Glad you are there for us.” —Tenant Judy C., Arlington, Virginia. Randy credits Buffini & Co. for teaching him how to grow his business by referral, develop deep and lasting relationships and being accountable. In addition, Jay Kinder and Mike Reese of Kinder Reese Real Estate Partners, and his broker, Steve Gaskins, have been true inspirations and have contributed greatly to his business success. Also, Randy is constantly adding to his referral base through Business Network International. Finally, Residential Property Management is a member in good standing of the National Association of Residential Property Managers.
