Larry Broughton

Larry Broughton is an author, speaker, entrepreneur, humanitarian, and family guy. After growing up in a small mill town in rural western New York, he spent eight years with the US Army’s elite Special Forces, commonly known as the Green Berets. During this time, he was twice awarded Outstanding Non-Commissioned Officer and attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. Larry has parlayed his unique experience of serving on Special Forces A-Teams to the business world. After serving as Vice President and Partner of one of the country’s leading hotel companies, in 2001 he became Founder and CEO of Broughton Hospitality (BroughtonHospitality.com). Since its inception, his firm has received numerous awards for performance, and is considered a leader in the boutique hotel industry. He has also been awarded Ernst & Young’s prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year Award® and the National Veteran-Owned Business Association (NaVOBA) named him their Vetrepreneur ® of the Year, while Entrepreneur Magazine named his firm among their Hot 500 Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies.
