Dr. Amelia Case
Amelia is an expert in integrative medicine and natural
health care solutions who, since 1990 has been advocating
safer and more effective solutions than drugs
to help people minimize pain and improve poor body
function. Her business, Universal Health Institute, is the
cornerstone of integrative health care in Chicago, and
her entrepreneurial spirit has been honored as an award winner for Make
Mine a Million as well as Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses. Amelia
is known for creating a business that focuses on looking further than just
getting rid of a health problem, asking, “Okay, now how do we boost your
immunity, get you stronger, build your energy, and help you manifest a better
state of health and well being?” Amelia has been a guest clinician on NBC,
and a host of “We Are Concerned”, a public television show bringing alternative
health care advice to Chicagoans. She has also been featured in Today’s
Chicago Woman, Crain’s Chicago Business and The Chicago Sun Times as a
businesswoman and expert in health care.
In addition to being a featured clinician on the cover of The American
Chiropractor, Amelia has been featured in CNNs Headline News anchor
Robin Meade’s New York Times best-selling book (Morning Sunshine, Center
Street Publishing) that highlighted how she helped Robin overcome panic
attacks by using the Demartini Method, a non-drug method to improve mental
health. Amelia continues to lecture at a variety of healthcare graduate
school programs on integrative care including schools throughout the U.S.,
the U.K., France, Holland and Belgium. While in Chicago, she spends her
time working with patients and traveling to teach the local medical community
about complimentary alternative health care choices for themselves and
