DaRayl D. Davis, CEP, RFC, ChFEBC, serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Financial Assurance Corporation. Founded in 2000 and commencing full operation in 2002, Financial Assurance Corporation is a Wealth Management and Investment Advisory Firm licensed to do business in multiple states and the District of Columbia. Mr. Davis brings to the position a strong and proven record of leadership in financial coaching, sales and marketing as well as the improvement of organizational achievement. Prior to beginning his full-time tenure as CEO, Mr. Davis served from 2000-2002 as Senior Manager in the Washington, DC office of American Income Life Insurance Company, a multi-billion dollar company, where he pioneered significant growth.

Mr. Davis began his financial services career in1993 with a Washington, DC based insurance sales and marketing firm providing supplemental benefits to employees of the Federal government. During his seven year tenure he honed his sales and communication skills, mastered the art of listening and asking questions, learned the art of networking to build relationships, and developed the essential skills necessary for effective leadership. Mr. Davis climbed up the ranks from sales agent to Vice President during that time.

Most notable, DaRayl Davis is a Spirit-filled, born-again Christian and is a member of the National Association of Christian Financial Consultants. He is very active in his local church, From the Heart Church Ministries, as a psalmist, musician, and ministry head of the Children’s Choir Ministry. He is a Certified Estate Planner (CEP) through the National Institute of Certified Estate Planners, a Registered Financial Consultant (RFC) with the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants, a Charter Federal Employee Benefits Consultant and an Investment Advisor Representative (Series 66). Mr. Davis is an alumnus of Howard University (School of Engineering) and holds a certificate of completion from Allianz Life™ University (August 2003), Allianz Life™ Practice Development Program (2004), and The Abts Institute for Estate Preservation (2004) and Advanced Institute (2007). He is a member of the District of Columbia Chamber of Commerce’s Workforce Development Committee and Economic Development Committee. Mr. Davis is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Prince George’s Business Roundtable and is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), the Premier Association for Financial Professionals. Mr. Davis is an active member of the Andrews Business and Community Alliance and served as an Honorary Commander at Andrews Air Force Base (Home of “Air Force One”) for two years. Mr. Davis also served as a member of the Allianz Life Multicultural Markets African-American Advisory Board and is an approved member of the National Ethics Association™. DaRayl has been a member of the National African-American Insurance Association (NAAIA) and was nominated to receive the 2008 Black Enterprise Magazine’s Rising Star Award.
