Chris Villafano

Chris Villafano is a graduate of Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Communications with an emphasis in Film and a Theatre minor. Chris was a proud member of Student Support Services, Lamar Filmmakers Association, and the Fine Arts Film Society. While attending Lamar University, he acquired numerous awards in the Communications department and Student Support Services. He became the first Student Employee of the Year (2009). Chris is no stranger to publication. Besides being on the Pulse 2008 editorial staff, Chris’s poems, “The Battle of Glutton” and “Tender Soles” were selected in that publication. He also worked in the Student Government Association, campus library, radio and TV station. Outside of Lamar University, Chris has been involved both in front of and behind the camera, working variously as actor and Executive Producer from time to time. Chris has been an active member of Toastmasters, winning several awards and certificates of completions. In addition to his other accomplishments, Chris served as Sergeant at Arms and Vice President of Public Relations.
